The much anticipated press conference of Tiger Woods was held today at 11am EST. Amongst a few select journalists, Woods without his wife Elin, said:

"There is one issue I really want to discuss. Some people have speculated that Elin somehow hurt or attacked me on Thanksgiving night. It angers me that people would fabricate a story like that. Elin never hit me that night or any other night. There has never been an episode of domestic violence in our marriage. Ever."

To me, the entire thing was contrived and Woods is a doucebag. He planned it all out and now he's the victim of a runaway penis addiction. Boo-hoo, I wish I were a man and had tons of money so I could bang beautiful whores who weren't my wife... but, uh, wait, no I don't. I have actual respect for my marital vows and love for my Yeti.

This stuff has been going on since the beginning of time and unfortunately will continue to go on. It's sad for those that are married to this types of people. The pain never goes away and the trust is all but destroyed. When one cheats on ones spouse, they cheat on the rest of their family as well because of their lies and deception.

I am only going to say this once more, I do not care who this man did or did not sleep with. This whole ordeal is between him and his wife.
I do not for the life of me understand what any of this has to do with his ability to play professional golf ??!!
Plus I have no idea why I need to know or why he needs to apologize to me or anyone other than his family for it.

Vivian, I agree with you whole heartedly. Nothing in his personal life affects me in anyway. Furthermore, while so many are talking about how he hurt them and affected the other players I can only laugh. Woods has brought the game of golf to the forefront, sold more golf equipment than any ten other players and let's not forget that with him in the mix there is now a golf network on cable. And I all but fell out laughing at the golf magazines who said because his press conference was so contrived and he wouldn't answer any questions they boycotted the meeting. They wouldn't even be in business if he had not been the player he is.

To me all the BS surrounding him needs to stop and they should be pleading that he comes back soon. If not golf will drop back to its nearly invisable state before he showed up.

I agree with Vivian and Spencer. This does not affect my life in any way, so why should it matter to me. I actually believe his wife came after him with the golf club, but then again I would do the same thing. It's between them and their family. I have enough to concern me in my own life, what he does is meaningless to me.

I agree with Vivian, the "trust" if there ever was any, will never come back completely. Time will tell whether he means what he said or not, but he did appear very contrite. I thought it was a good apology actually.

God forbid anyone take something seriously,, could it be a slight chance he is sorry enough to do this in public, It take a man to admit to his problem and a man to say sorry, I really hope this is for truth and thing will now settle down and some folk little one mainly will go on with thier live as priovite as possible
