The Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup will be unveiled tonight during the finale of The Bachelor, and the question remains: Will a professional athlete emerge victorious once again.
The roster won't be official until this evening, but rumors have included names such as Greg Louganis and recent gold medalist Evan Lysacek.
Former standout athletes have enjoyed a long run of success during the brief history of the show. Past winners have included NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, and fellow legend Jerry Rice earned runner-up status in the second season.
Athletes emerged victorious in three consecutive seasons of the show, with Apolo Anton Ohno capturing the crown in season four, followed by wins by Helio Castroneves and Kristi Yamaguchi in seasons five and six, respectively.
Not all athletes who have made appearances have been successful, though. In fact, in a story reviewing athletes who have performed on the show ESPN dubbed Evander Holyfield - who was voted to have each of the three worst dances in Season one - lasted just a short time.
Other athletes who have competed on the show include track star Maurice Greene, volleyball sensation Misty May-Treanor and football has-been Warren Sapp in season 7, tennis player Monica Seles and current NFL linebacker Jason Taylor in season 6, boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in season 5, Clyde Drexler and Laila Ali in season 4 and Stacy Keibler in Season 2.
More recently, Season 8 featured Olympian Shawn Johnson, and Season 9 included Louie Vito and Natalie Coughlin.
