First of all, I hope everything works out for Alves. He seems cool as hell, and you definitely don't wanna take chances with anything involving the brain. I hope this doesn't end up being as serious as it might sound.
On a personal note, for fight fans, it's very disappointing. Alves-Fitch looked like a great fight, and I might've made some alright coin wagering on it :)
Now the UFC's trying to find an opponent on two days notice, which means Fitch will either not fight, or we'll be watching him take down and dry hump some unprepared newcomer for three rounds.
