As everyone heard yesterday the New England Patriots released the headache they have had for a few years in the versatile linebacker Thomas. Thomas is a very valuable player to any team because just a few years ago he played defensive end, linebacker, and safety. There are a few teams that would be a logical fit and they are the New York Giants who desperatly need linebackers, New York Jets who always love fresh bodies and a reunion with Rex Ryan could be what the doctor ordered, and the Miami Dolphins who like the Giants really need a solid linebacker.
Thomas should fit in well with any team he lands on but the Jets and Phins seem like the best fits.
