The incident occured in late May where some witnesses accused Benson of being verbally abusive and pushing the male bartender named Bryan White.
Bryan said Benson punched him in the face after he and a group of other white boys escorted him out the place.
Sam Bassett, Benson's attorney said Benson is looking forward to telling his side of the story because what the bartender is saying is not accurate.
Since 2005 Cedric Benson has gotten into trouble off the field a couple of times. In 2008 he was cited for two DUI's, one on a boat and the other while driving in a car.
In 2009 Benson ended the season hitting a career high of 1,251 yards with 6 touchdowns.
After appearing in front of a judge Benson was released from Travis County jail after he posted bail.
Benson had no comments at the time of his release.
