So far, so good, real good, for Tigers rookie Brennan Boesch. He continues his assult on MLB pitching, and has been named the AL rookie of the month for June.
Boesch lead all AL rookies with eight homers, 23 RBI, 35 hits and 17 runs scored. He batted .337 (35-for-104) during the month and had four doubles and a triple along with a .625 slugging average and a .400 on-base percentage.
Brennan also leads all rookies in the major leagues with 46 RBI's.
When the Tigers traded Curtis Granderson, many people were skeptical that the Tigers would have a good outfield, or even have a good team this year. Austin Jackson has lived up to the hype he got when the Yankees drafted him, and Brennan Boesch has come out of nowhere to make everyone take notice.
Add Johnny Damon and Magglio Ordonez  to the mix, and all the sudden the Tigers outfield looks pretty strong. So does this team!
