LeBron James Twitter Meltdown: Miami Heat Star...

Mark it down on your calenders - October 20 is officially LeBron James "Hater Day."

James showed his sensitive side today on Twitter, deciding to vent to his Twitter followers and ReTweet some of the most hateful tweets that have been directed towards him since he opened his Twitter account back in July.

According to LeBron, "Everybody thinks [being a professional athlete] is a bed of roses and its not."

Here are some highlight's from "LeBron James Hater Day" on Twitter, courtesy of Barstool Sports:

One person tweeted that James is a "Big nosed big lipped bug eyed (racial slur)."

LeBron James has over 900,000 followers on Twitter, and he made a "decision" this summer that captivated America and changed the landscape of the NBA, although the majority (sans Heat fans) think it was the wrong one. Â He didn't even give the Cavs notice prior to "The Decision" that he wasn't coming back.

For someone as absurdly rich and as consistently in the spotlight as LeBron James is, it's hard to imagine how he can expect to feel sympathy for these tweets. Â Everybody on the planet has to deal with hateful remarks and negative comments - just because LeBron James is LeBron James, that doesn't mean people have to care more.

Until he understands that it's the sun, not King James, which the planets rotate around, it's going to be near impossible for him to regain the respect he lost this summer.

His camp probably planted those Tweets to drum up some sympathy for him.

Not at all. He is feeding off that hate for the season and if he wins he will act as if "hey I showed you I can win a championship look at me". The fact is he had to have a star studded team to win a championship. Wade argues that all the other stars had another great benefactor on the court, but the fact is there hasn't been a combo as strong as this. Does that mean their guaranteed champs? No. Will they likely win once in the next six years? Probably.

James has a huge ego. Why do you think he has two kids and isn't married yet? Think about it.

What are you talking about? This dude is one the most narcissistic athletes in sports today. There is enough hate out there that someone would call him a derogatory term. His camp isn't making it up. He asked for people to hate him. No way his camp edited that. What they do edit is when he uses the wrong "there" his next tweet says my bad ya'll I meant their, I haven't been in school for a while. I hate L BJ.
