An unknown gunman shot former NFL Cornerback R.W. McQuarters in the back on Saturday, April 30, 2011. The retired athlete was leaving a friend's house in Tulsa, Oklahoma when the incident occurred.
The former NFL player told police that he noticed a man wearing a ski mask shortly before the shooting. According to Fox Sports, McQuarters drove himself to the hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
Fortunately for R.W. McQuarters, his injuries were not life-threatening. The bad news is that the police do not have a suspect in the case.
