WWE Tough Enough 2011 episode 8 called "I've Been Bamboozled and Flabbergasted" aired on Monday, May 23, 2011 on USA. Here's the recap of this latest exciting pro wrestling reality show competition, guest starring James Roday and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The episode opened with Christina arriving back to get greeted by trainer Trish Stratus. Lucky for her, Christina only had a sprain and arrived to the house on crutches. AJ felt bad that he may have caused the injury and apologized to Christina for his role in it, but she was OK with it.
Stone Cold arrived to the training session with the latest lesson theme which was charisma. Austin noted that Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and Superstar Billy Graham showed charisma. Austin told the remaining competitors it's "do or die" time in the competition. AJ got yelled at early on by Bill DeMott over a botched move. Jeremiah also got chastised a bit for trying too much at once. Andy and Luke really nailed it in the ring though, earning a group hug with Bill and Trish.
The contestants got their life lesson in Hollywood, thanks to special guest James Roday of "Psych," a hit show from USA. Roday had each of them conduct a 10-minute tour for the Hollywood Walk of Fame. AJ, Andy, Christina, and Luke all struggled with their routines. Roday said Jeremiah did a great job of showcasing charisma when it was all said and done.
At the next training session, the competitors got a huge treat in the form of a visit from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Austin noted Rock has some of the best in-ring charisma which transferred to his celeb entertainment career. The Rock got in the ring with the contestants to show them some moves and charisma. Christina was upset she couldn't get in the ring with Rock due to her injury. Rock told them all to be looser in the ring. Austin then gave each contestant two minutes to cut a promo on Bill DeMott. The Rock stayed around to watch with the trainers as they were evaluated one-by-one.
When all of the competitors had their time, The Rock cut a memorable promo on them all. He ripped most of them a new one, dissing their performance, but surprisingly it was AJ that cut the best promo on Bill DeMott of them all.
The trainers talked over who wasn't giving their best at this point in the competition. After some discussion, the bottom three consisted of Christina, AJ, and Andy. Luke and Jeremiah were safe, while the other three packed their bags to prepare for possible elimination.
During the final segment, Austin assembled the bottom three in the ring. Austin said "I've been bamboozled and flabbergasted in the first five minutes of the bottom 3." Austin really tore Andy apart, seeing a fire really light up under him. Austin chastised Christina for wasting the opportunity to give a promo in front of The Rock today. He kept on Andy to the point he was nearly in tears.
In the end, Austin sent two of them home. So who was eliminated on WWE Tough Enough? Say goodbye to Christina and AJ. Stone Cold felt Christina didn't show any passion, and AJ only had one good day to save him. It's now down to a final three of Andy, Luke, and Jeremiah.
