Greg Olsen is happy to make a fresh start after being traded from the Chicago Bears to the Carolina Panthers. The 31st 2007 NFL draft pick wanted to know where he would be playing after the NFL lockout finally ended.
Now he knows. For their part, the Carolina Panthers traded a 2012 third round draft pick for Greg Olsen. They also signed a four-year contract extension worth $24 million. Will they end up getting their money's worth?
Of the quick trade, Olsen said, ''It was not something that I expected. Then things transpired really fast. But, in the end, I think I'm going to a good place. There's no doubt I'm going to miss my teammates, and the city of Chicago has been awesome to me and my family.''
The newly traded NFL tight end is also happy to be back with offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski, whom he worked with in Miami. Are you happy about this trade? What do you think that Olsen will add to the Panthers?
