The NHL season has yet to begin and there are already a number of trade rumors circulating around the league. The latest is on Zach Parise who just signed a one-year contract to play for the New Jersey Devils.
Parise was inked to a deal, but that it was just for one year has experts around the league suggesting that he could be traded if the Devils get off to a slow start in the upcoming season. The Toronto Maple Leafs were one of the teams interested in his services for the coming year and that could lead to a deal this winter.
The rumor has Toronto sending three or four players and a couple of draft picks for Parise and a draft pick. The deal would need a number of players due to the salary cap issues of New Jersey.
The winger would become a front line player for the Maple Leafs and the Devils would get some much-needed depth and some youth from the draft picks. This is a deal to keep a look at as the season goes along and could come to fruition by the NHL trading deadline.
