The recent NBA talks have garnered a lot of attention this week and that has created several trade rumors. The league has a knack for off-season moves of some of its biggest stars and this upcoming season should see a number of players in new uniforms.
The latest rumor as reported by Bleacher Report has Dwight Howard being traded to the Chicago Bulls. Chicago doesn't have a big need for a front-court player, but Howard is special and it would definitely be in the team's best interest to acquire the All-Star center.
The deal has Howard, Ryan Anderson, and Daniel Orton going to Chicago and the Orlando Magic receiving Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, Taj Gibson, and future draft picks. This move would change the team chemistry of the Bulls, but Howard could make them the favorites to win an NBA Championship.
The trade would eventually benefit both teams as the Bulls would just reload their front-court with this deal, and Orlando would receive enough in return to call for a trade. The Magic might be tempted to make a deal for another star in attempt to keep Howard, but if that fails look for the team to get all they can to keep the franchise competitive without Howard, who is entering the last year of his contract with the Magic.
