The NHL season is just two weeks into the season, and there have already been a number of trade rumors circulating around different social media sites.
The latest from Bleach Report has the LA Kings interested in winger Zach Parise of the New Jersey Devils. Parise and the Devils are not seeing eye to eye, and the Kings are weak on the left wing and could use a player like Parise to bolster their lineup and give the team its best chance in years at winning a Stanley Cup.
Parise is in the last year of his contract, and it seems that he will not resign with the Devils. If that is the case, GM Lou Lamoriello will do everything possible to get New Jersey enough talent through a trade to offset the loss of Parise.
The Kings do have a number of talented youngsters they could use in a trade, and adding Parise to the line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown could make Los Angeles a tough team to beat in the Western Conference. If New Jersey feels a trade is their only option, look for the Kings to become one of the bidders for the veteran winger as they look to make a move in this year's NHL playoffs.
