A Rob Gronkowski Bibi Jones Twitter pic has recently elicited an apology on behalf of the NFL's New England Patriots star. Meanwhile, the porn star is calling Rob a "perfect gentleman" and wishing more had happened.
The photos were taken just last week and feature Rob Gronkowski, a tight end for the Patriots, posing with Bibi Jones, a porn film star. Both photos feature Bibi wearing Gronkowski's jersey, while one picture also has the New England football player topless. The two photos were posted by Jones on her Twitter account, but Gronkowski recently met with Pats owner Robert Kraft regarding the pics. He apologized to the Patriots organization for them in a recent statement.
Gronkowski recently said of the pictures:
"I didn't intend anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft. It was just a simple picture and that's all."
By the way, the Boston Herald has an interesting article detailing exactly how this photo shoot went down. Apparently, Gronkowski was visiting football friend from the University of Arizona, who happened to know Bibi Jones. She was invited over to tell them all about how "skin flicks" are made as Gronkowski, his friend, and several others watched some of her work on video. Jones apparently asked to pose in a picture or two with Rob who said he was cool with her putting them on Twitter since she had more followers. Apparently, Gronkowski wanted to attract more Twitter followers with the pics, but ended up having to apologize to his professional employer, the New England Patriots.
Some may be wondering why Gronkowski needs to even apologize for this. Apparently, nothing happened between him and the porn star, although the photos may send a different message to some. It appears to be harmless fun, but athletes and celebrities tend to be held to a higher standard it seems when it comes to public representation and image. Unless those celebrities happen to be porn stars, then they pretty much can do what they want on camera.
