Fourth quarter comebacks, starting a national trend, there could even be something bigger for the future Tim Tebow, politics! Now quit laughing. Tebow says that it would have to be something he cared about. Even during the 2012 presidential candidate race, politicians have been trying to align themselves with the Denver Broncos quarterback. Tebow's faith has made him a prime candidate for GOP presidential hopefuls to latch onto because the majority of GOP voters consider themselves Christian like Tebow.
It is likely that the fourth-quarter miracle worker would get plenty of votes. He has already gathered a major following, and Tim Tebow politics could be just what the GOP needs to revitalize the party. Of course, there can be no politics for Tebow until his football career is over, and by the way he led the Broncos to six straight wins, it doesn't look like the NFL will be out of his life anytime soon. This doesn't mean Tebow won't be broadcasting his political opinions.
It would be unusual for a man with his celebrity standing and strong political opinions to remain silent. With a national platform, Tebow has the ability to vocalize his message to the masses. Doing so would likely mean he faces more of the same criticism he has encountered all year, but Tim seems to be letting it roll right off his back. There is no reason to think he would put something aside for fear of criticism.
