Who would ever think that George Clooney would be lonely? That's just one of the things the hunky star has recently revealed.
Unlike some stars who try to hide their faults, gorgeous George is often willing to talk about his own. He admits to trying cocaine, but says for him, "blow is absolutely a nonstarter." He does, however, enjoy alcohol—something he has to watch carefully.
"I do enjoy drinking," he says. Then he adds, "...there have been times in my life when it's crossed the line...so what I do is, I stop."
That is admirable given that a lot of people don't have that kind of self-discipline. It's perhaps another insight into America's number one heart-throb.
George Clooney also admits that he battles with insomnia. "Without question, I wake up five times a night," he claims. He says he sometimes thinks too much, which is hard to turn off so that he can sleep.
As for loneliness, George says he has his moments just like anyone else. "Anyone would be lying if they said they didn't get lonely at times." He goes on the add, "I have been infinitely more alone in a bad relationship; there's nothing more isolating."
The Hollywood hunk is right about that. Being with the wrong person can cause deep loneliness to set in. There might be someone physically there, but if there's not a connection, one might as well be alone.
How refreshing that George Clooney is willing to open up and prove that he's just like everyone else. He has the same horrible moments that all people have. He makes mistakes, falls into traps, and suffers like every other human being. Maybe that's why he's so easy to love. He doesn't set himself apart or above everyone else.
