Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been absent from the Dallas Mavericks basketball court lately because they are dealing with Lamar's sick father. He was supposedly gravely ill, but is doing much better after getting some professional attention. However, Lamar's absence from the court has sparked some discussion, such as Lamar being booted from the team. In fact, the reliable ESPN reported that Lamar "is miserable on his new team and seeking to break his Mavs contract," since he missed yet another practice this week.
Sure, one could imagine that Lamar is ready to retire considering him almost quitting the game entirely last season and his career drop from playing excellent in Los Angeles and playing mediocre in Dallas. It takes time to adjust to a new team, but it seems the tabloids can only focus on his downfall. And with Khloe Kardashian's paternity scandal and pregnancy troubles, it seems this couple has been going through too much drama after landing in Dallas in December. So is this couple leaving the city?
Well, it doesn't look like Lamar and Khloe are ready to leave Dallas behind just yet. Sometimes things happen in life and you have to take time off to deal with these issues. Mavs owner Mark Cuban supports Lamar and Khloe as they take care of their family. "We think Lamar has been a huge plus for us... Sometimes guys go through issues and have to deal with them. We always try to support our guys," Cuban explained. And the coach of the team is being just as supportive as Lamar deals with a tough situation.
And as long as Khloe and Lamar are together, it seems unlikely that the two would leave Dallas over some not-to-excellent basketball.
