Episode 4 of the Ultimate Fighter Live on Fx kicks off tonight. Tonight's episode will feature a compelling fight between Myles Jury for Team Cruz and Al Iaquinta for Team Faber.
Both of these fighters possess the skills it takes to succeed at the highest level of mixed martial arts. Last episode we saw Justin Lawrence knockout Cristiano Marcello making it two wins straight for Team Cruz. Jury will look to make it a third straight win for Team Cruz come fight night.
The format thus far for this season certainly is a breath of fresh air. The live format is innovative and keeps things interesting as each episode progresses.
Myles Jury comes into this fight with an unbeaten record of 9-0. His base is wrestling and it will be interesting see him utilize it come fight time tonight. He beat Akbarh Arreola to get onto the show.
Al Iaquinta comes into this fight with an overall record of 5-1-1. He is fighting for Team Faber, who is currently 0-2 this season. His style is mma and he will look to utilize his overall well-roundedness in order to prevail tonight. He defeated Jon Tuck via decision to get on to this season.
Both of these fighters are looking to move on to the semi-finals, and will do everything in their power to get a win for their teams. The tension between teams seems to be heating up, and it will be interesting to see what ensues on this season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Another thing that has been very entertaining to watch is the pranks. Episode 3 featured pranks from both teams. Team Faber drew a unibrow on the face of Domick Cruz's poster. Team Cruz struck back by placing a piece of string so that it looked like a thong on Urijah Faber's chin. It will be interesting to see what type of pranks unfold on tonight's episode.
