The WWE Wrestlemania 28 results for John Cena vs. The Rock saw "The People's Champion" connect on a "Rock Bottom" for the big win. In the aftermath of the epic match, Dwayne Johnson has tweeted out a pic featuring the WWE champion, and his recent supporter from the rap world.
On the latest episode of Raw, Rock vowed to one day become the WWE champion again. It was an interesting comment that fans can take for what it's worth, because who knows if he'll be back next week, next year, or in three years. The current WWE champion is of course CM Punk. Rock recently tweeted a photo and this message to his followers on Twitter:
"The People's Champ" & "The Best in the World" @WWE Champ @CMPunk. #KeepKickinAssChamp
There had been a previous time last year when CM Punk shot his infamous promo to denounce guys like Cena and The Rock for the way they were built up by WWE. It even involved Rock tweeting back at one point that his Wrestlemania main event would draw more money in one night than Punk could in a lifetime. Now there's a picture of the two superstars, all smiles. Will Rock be wearing Punk's championship belt in the near future?
The Rock also gave kudos to the man who helped introduce him to the Wrestlemania 28 crowd, rap star Flo Rida. The rapper performed hit songs "Wild Ones" and "Good Feeling." He received the following tweet from the man who defeated John Cena.
@official_flo The biggest match of all time. Record breaking crowd of 78,363. U killed it! Thank U brotha Flo. #TeamBringIt
Flo Rida also left the arena with plenty of respect from the crowd, seeing as he was on the winning side. Newer rap star MGK couldn't say the same, even though he made an appearance at Raw the following night, and Flo Rida did not.
What the WWE Universe can take away from all of this is that The Rock brought it for his millions and millions of fans. It's still unknown when the next time Dwayne Johnson will appear in a WWE ring for a match will be, but he helped make Wrestlemania 28 memorable for many fans. The pro wrestling world will continue to talk about this match for some time, and wonder what the next bout will be for "The Great One."
