The 2012 New York Jets schedule is out for fans to examine. It was a big deal for the league to devote an entire evening to the release of the full NFL schedule, pumping up excitement for a season that won't even get started until the beginning of September. For the Jets, that schedule begins on Sunday, Sept. 9 against the Buffalo Bills. It's a home game that will allow the Jets to get off on the right track.
Two tough road games cross the path of the Jets in Week 2 and Week 3, with the team traveling to play the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. Some of the toughest games on the Jets schedule include a Week 4 match-up with the San Francisco 49ers, a Week 5 game against the Houston Texans and then a Week 7 game against the New England Patriots. They have to play the Patriots again on Thanksgiving, making for a tough day.
There are Monday night games on Nov. 8 against the Texans on ESPN and then on Dec. 17 against the Tennessee Titans (on ESPN as well) that will give the team even more exposure than normal. Overall, the 2012 New York Jets Schedule is a relatively easy one when you boil it down, so do you think this team is destined to have double-digit victories in the 2012 NFL season? Or will the Jets implode under the pressure of the Mark Sanchez vs. Tim Tebow debate?
