The NBA action continued on Sunday with a couple of interesting games. Miami evened their series with Indiana and the San Antonio Spurs moved on to the Western Conference Finals with a sweep over the LA Clippers.
Miami entered their game on Sunday with several questions surrounding the team, but LeBron James and Dwayne Wade answered those questions with strong performances. James dominated the Pacers with 40 points, 18 rebounds, and nine assists as the Heat won on the road 101-93. Wade, who played terrible in the last game, came out strong and finished the contest with 30 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, a big improvement over his five point performance on Friday night. With the series now tied at 2-2, the series continues on Tuesday with game five played in Miami.
San Antonio used their depth in Los Angeles as the Spurs swept their series with the Clippers with a 102-99 win Sunday night. The Spurs had six players score in double-digits, including three bench players and now the team awaits the winner of the LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder series. Tim Duncan led the team with 21 points and nine rebounds, but it was a strong all-around team performance that put the Spurs in the winners circle.
Monday night will have two more NBA Playoff games as Boston hosts Philadelphia with their series tied at 2 games each. The LA Lakers look to stay alive in a must-win game on the road in Oklahoma City as the Thunder lead that series 3-1.
