Chad Ochocinco in south beach?
It could happen. After being released by the New England Patriots, Chad Ochocinco garnered some attention from several teams including the Cowboys, Texans, Dolphins, Bills and more. However, the team that makes most sense for the 34-year-old WR are the Dolphins, who traded away their best receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears.
Now, SI.com is reporting that Ochocinco is working out for the Dolphins and is adamant about playing there. The Dolphins needs receiver help bad, as newly drafted rookie Ryan Tannehill will have to make the best out of a bad receiving corps if and when he becomes the starting quarterback.
Even though Ochocinco is 34 years old, he can still play at a high level. His lack of catches and playing time in New England was due to his not grasping the playoff more than it was his skillset. The Dolphins also play the Patriots twice a year, giving Ochocinco even more motivation to make his new home south beach.
