Kevin Garnett in a Spurs uniform?
Never in your wildest dreams would you think this would happen. The Big Ticket has spent 12 years of his career in Minnesota before being shipped to Boston where he won his first and only championship but now he's set to become a free-agent for the first time in his career. He usually doesn't change teams, but could find a new home this off-season.

According to IamaGM, the San Antonio Spurs front office executives mentioned Kevin Garnett as one of their free-agent targets. It doesn't make much sense when you initially think of it seeing that the Spurs already have Tim Duncan, but Garnett played center this year for the Celtics and is interchangeable between the power forward and center position.
Many other teams will have much more money to throw at Garnett, such as the Brooklyn Nets but Kevin Garnett doesn't want to waste the last years of his career on a lottery team. The Spurs can offer Garnett a serious brand of basketball that is surrounded by veterans who are ready to win now. It isn't as crazy when you really look at it.
