Most trade rumors come about due to media and their need to create a buzz, but the latest NHL trade talks came from the player himself as Bobby Ryan made it clear he wants out of Anaheim.
The Ducks young star is tired of the trade talks that have surrounded his name over the past couple of seasons, and he is upset that the team is doing little to make it clear they want to keep him in a Ducks uniform. Ryan recently told Randy Miller of the Courier Post that he wants a move and Philadelphia is his team of choice.
The Flyers have already been active this off-season having made a couple of deals at the draft, but acquiring a high scorer like Ryan that is just 25 years old is a move the Flyers would need to look at this summer.
The young winger has 259 points in his 332 career games and has scored at least 30 goals in every full season he's played. Anaheim would ask a hefty price for their young stud, but Philadelphia has the pieces to make this deal work, and making this trade would put the Flyers in position to win an NHL Stanley Cup, not only this season, but for several years down the road.
