Toronto has always had trouble luring top NBA players north of the border and with a good group of front-court players now in place, the Raptors will try again this summer to add some talent through free agency, but as always, it will be a tough sell.
The latest rumor from Maxwell Ogden has the team looking at Canadian Steve Nash in their effort to create a playoff team. Nash is 38 years old and not the ideal player to build a team around, but the veteran point guard is still one of the game's top floor generals and signing with Toronto would make this team a playoff contender in the upcoming basketball season.
Phoenix is still looking at keeping their veteran on board, but the Suns are looking to add youth and that could leave the window open for the Raptors to sneak in and sign unrestricted free agent to a deal.
Toronto has done a good job through the NBA Draft, but now they need to convince players to head North if they want to become a regular in the post-season and signing Nash would be a great start for the team and its fans.
