With the 2012 NBA Draft officially in the books, teams around the league will not turn their attention towards the free agent market as they look to make improvements across their rosters.
The LA Clippers made a huge move to acquire point guard Chris Paul last year and now the team must look for help for the front-court. The team has one of the best young players in Blake Griffin, but depth is needed if this team wants to make it further along in next season's playoffs and adding another offensive weapon could have this team surpassing the LA Lakers.
The latest rumor from Joshua Carroll of Bleacher Report suggests the team makes a move on forward Michael Beasley this summer. The youngster has had some off-court issues, but his skills are a good fit for the young LA Clippers and he could give the team some much-needed bench scoring or a fill-in as a starter in the 2012-13 season.
A move by Beasley to join a quality team like the Clippers and play with an exceptional point guard like Paul, could become a win-win situation for both he and the team, making Los Angeles a contender to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.
