Andrew Bynum is back in NBA trade rumors, presumably because the Orlando Magic want to acquire him in exchange for Dwight Howard. In the midst of many NBA trade rumors that have Howard heading to the Brooklyn Nets for a package of players, it seems the Los Angeles Lakers and Magic have already had talks about a possible deal.
This could certainly throw a wrench into what the Nets and Howard want, but that should not concern the front office in Orlando at all. It probably goes without saying that Orlando would need Bynum to agree to a contract extension before a deal like this went down, but the Lakers may also need that assurance from Howard.

It might take a lot of work for Orlando and Los Angeles to come to final terms of a deal, especially because Orlando wants to part with one of the contracts of Hedo Turkoglu or Jason Richardson as well. The Lakers would likely benefit from bringing on either player, possibly getting a steal from the deal. If they were able to acquire Howard and hold on to Pau Gasol, that would make Los Angeles pretty good going forward.
Do you think that an Andrew Bynum for Dwight Howard trade is finally ready to go down? Can the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic come to terms on a better deal than the Magic would get from the Brooklyn Nets?
