It has been a while since fans saw the iconic Undertaker inside a WWE ring. It has almost become the norm these days, Undertaker returns to World Wrestling Entertainment around a month before Wrestlemania, and fans get the privilege of only seeing the icon for a few weeks, that's one of the reasons the "streak" match at Wrestlemania is such a talked about and anticipated event. However, reports have surfaced that a different approach could be scripted this year.
Wrestling Inc have posted a report today that World Wrestling Entertainment and the creative team plans to have Undertaker return at Survivor Series in November to compete against Brock Lesnar. It is believed that Mark Calaway (The Undertaker) has undergone two major surgeries in the last year, and following his matchup against Triple H at Wrestlemania, Calaway said he "felt good" and believed he had more than a few world class matchups left in him. WWE Creative have confirmed that it is "almost certain" that Undertaker will perform at Wrestlemania XXIX in New York next year, but the announcement revolving a potential match against Brock Lesnar has come as a surprise, with many people believing that was almost a certain Wrestlemania match.
None of this is confirmed at this point, but with WWE's involvement with such websites like Wrestling Inc and Bleacher Report, you'd have to believe at least a portion of this news is accurate. With WWE's recent poor feedback revolving "main event" talent and current storylines, a potential feature match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will only add to the resurgence and to the spectacle that is Survivor Series.
