Golden State has made some terrific additions to their team this off-season with three good draft picks, and with the move to add center Andrew Bogut late last season, this team is primed to make a run at the NBA Playoffs this season.
While this team has a good nucleus of players, more depth and leadership is necessary, and the latest rumor from Bleacher Report has Golden State filling that need with the suggestion to sign free agent Antawn Jamison.
The 36-year-old averaged over 17 points and six boards for Cleveland last season, but a change of scenery and the opportunity to play for a playoff contender could have the veteran moving to the West Coast.
The Warriors now have one of the top starting units in the NBA, and adding a proven veteran like Jamison could make this an elite team next season, but the Warriors front office needs to show fans they're tired of losing and are willing to add the pieces necessary for this franchise to finally become a winner.
