A DeJuan Blair trade has become one of the latest San Antonio Spurs trade rumors this offseason. Blair, who found himself out of the main rotation during the 2012 NBA Playoffs, could become the odd man out when the Spurs enter the new season. That alone could lead to him getting traded to a team that needs a big man soon.
A recent report shows that Blair understands the situation; even as he helps the select team compete against Team USA in preparation for the London Olympics. Blair stated that, "I love the Spurs, but they've got a lot of 'bigs,' and they're bringing somebody else from overseas, so where am I going to fall at? I was out of the rotation at the end of the season, so imagine next year."

It's no secret that Blair is on the trading block, but his ultimate destination might be harder to crack. A team like the New York Knicks or Miami Heat could really use someone of his size and defensive toughness, especially since Blair will only make $1.05 million next year. That amounts to peanuts in the NBA, meaning nearly every team could afford to take on his salary in a trade.
Do you think that it would be a mistake for the San Antonio Spurs to part with DeJuan Blair? Which team would be the best fit for someone with Blair's talents in the NBA?
