New 2012 NBA Trade rumors surrounding Dwight Howard just got revealed. Shortly after 7 p.m. ET on July 10, it was confirmed that talks about a three-way blockbuster trade between the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Orlando Magic were taking place.
Another source also chimed in, stating that the rumored talks between the Rockets, Lakers, and Magic are very real. He added that this deal would probably only take priority if talks with the Brooklyn Nets finally came to an end. It's yet another interesting twist in the ever-evolving situation of Howard and his ultimate destination.

It would seem that if a trade like this is going to take place that both Howard and Andrew Bynum would need to agree to contract extensions. Bynum would then likely head to Orlando, and it's also very possible that Pau Gasol could go to the Rockets. Houston has wanted Gasol for a quite a while now, but couldn't figure out a way to make a trade possible that the Lakers liked.
If this trade does take place and the Lakers land Howard to play along with Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, it would be hard not to call the Lakers one of the favorites in the Western Conference. At the same time, all of the pieces that might work in this deal haven't been revealed yet.
Stay tuned to this one, because it is evolving by the second.
Do you think that the Houston Rockets should help the Los Angeles Lakers get Dwight Howard? Are these NBA trade rumors getting crazier by the day?
