Grant Hill has surfaced in Los Angeles Clippers trade rumors, possibly leading to him joining the team very soon. Hill has played the last few seasons for the Phoenix Suns, but as part of the rebuilding efforts, he is becoming the latest veteran to leave and join a contender.
According to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated, Hill is going to be joining the Clippers and now it just comes down to how exactly that takes place. It is either going to work as a sign-and-trade deal with Phoenix so that the Suns can get an asset back or the Clippers will simply use their bi-annual exception to make it happen.

This is big news for the Clippers, not just because Hill brings some star power with him, but because he can be a very valuable defender off the bench. He isn't the player he once was with the Detroit Pistons, but Hill can still offer a lot of talent for 15-20 minutes a night. There is a reason that teams like the Miami Heat, LA Lakers and New York Knicks have been linked to him during the NBA offseason.
Last season for the Suns, Hill started 46 games and averaged 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He was averaging just over 28 minutes a night and was still a valuable contributor to the team. That is exactly what the Clippers would like to get from him off the bench.
What do you think of these latest Los Angeles Clippers trade rumors? Can Grant Hill help provide the team with even more leadership and a better chance at making it to the NBA Finals?
