Most of the top name NBA free agents have signed to play next season, but some good players are still available and the next few days should be busy for teams looking to add depth.
The latest rumor from Bleacher Report has forward Carl Landry shrinking his list of teams and the Golden State Warriors are on top of that list. The 6'9" forward would give the Warriors some nice depth in the front-court and a player that could start if needed.
Landry averaged 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds for New Orléans last season and the former second round draft pick has averaged 12 points and five rebounds in his five years in the league. The Warriors are looking to become contenders in the Western Conference and with a good starting unit, they just need a solid bench to make a run at the playoffs next year.
Golden State has a new home in San Francisco and the franchise has a new attitude and with some luck in the health department, this team could become the toast of Northern California and a sleeper in the NBA in the 2012-13 season.
