Miami Heat trade rumors now include the possibility of the team acquiring Raja Bell from the Utah Jazz. It's a trade that could really help the bench of the Heat, especially when it comes to filling in should either LeBron James or Dwyane Wade need to sit out at any point next season.
According to FOX Sports, Bell has expressed interest in joining the Heat and received permission from the Jazz front office to seek out a trade. A deal would likely not net the Jazz much in terms of assets, but it's certainly possible that they could free up his salary should Miami become more interested.
While on paper this might seem like a good trade for both sides, it doesn't appear that there has been significant movement to getting a deal done. If Miami and Utah don't end up coming to terms on a trade, it is also equally likely that Bell could end up receiving a buyout from the Jazz just to leave the team.
It's pretty clear that Bell doesn't have a roster spot on the Jazz any longer and that the team would take just about anything in exchange for him. If Miami can find a way to afford bringing on his contract, this might be a deal that they should make as soon as possible.
What do you think of these Miami Heat trade rumors? Should the team try hard to get Raja Bell or simply pass on the opportunity?
