Michelle Jenneke won't get the chance to try to win a medal at the London Olympics, but the 19-year-old Australian hurdler is definitely winning the hearts of men everywhere.
Michelle was competing in the 100-meter hurdles at the IAAF World Junior Championship in Barcelona last week when she decided to show off her gorgeous smile and racy warm-up routine.
Someone took footage of her pre-race dance and added some sexy music and slo-mo to turn it into a viral video. Unfortunately Michelle's hip-shaking only helped her place fifth overall, but she's still first in the hearts of all her new male fans (and she did win her heat).
In the video footage, the brunette beauty flashes a bright smile and bounces up and down, throwing in some spirit fingers for good measure. Michelle Jenneke looks more like she's practicing a cheerleading dance routine than preparing for a race, and she even has a cheerleader-style ribbon in her hair.
Her happy dance definitely seemed to brighten the day of one of the track officials behind her - the woman appears to be trying to hold back a smile at one point in the video.
Michelle's dance is a bit reminiscent of Kate Upton's sexy Cat Daddy video, but of course Michelle isn't wearing a super-skimpy bikini. However, now she'll probably get plenty of offers to strip down for men's mags like GQ and FHM. And it will only be a matter of time before someone sets her dance routine to the infectious pop tune "Call Me Maybe."
Some people might argue that it's not fair to sexualize Michelle, especially since there are plenty of better hurdlers out there not getting the same amount of attention for excelling at their sport. But of course boys will be boys, and at least Michelle seems genuinely excited about hurdling.
