The London Olympics 2012 basketball schedule continues on July 31st as Team USA vs. Tunisia goes live streaming online and on television. The game comes after the United States won a sloppy contest against France by double digits, with LeBron James commenting on the recent performance.
The latest Team USA live stream game starts up at 5:15PM EST. This game, like the last, will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network, a channel many individuals may not have on cable or satellite. In fact, most of the basketball games will be shown this way through the Olympics. NBC Olympics coverage is also streaming live on their website, but the catch is, your current cable or satellite package has to have that particular channel, to use the internet feed.
This marks Team USA's second game in Pool A play, after defeating France 98-71 in their first. They competed against San Antonio Spurs point guard, Tony Parker, but ESPN described the win as "rough and ragged." While the U.S. wasn't in danger of losing, it's clear they need to tighten up their play ahead of tougher matchups. LeBron James commented on the previous game, saying:
"It wasn't perfect. We've still got room for improvement. We had too many turnovers, too many fouls and we had a couple of defensive rebounds we could have come up with. But overall, we played a pretty good game for as close to 40 minutes as possible."
While James had 8 assists, the team was led in scoring by Kevin Durant, who has quietly started emerging as the Team MVP early. LeBron's comments are spot on, as Team USA will certainly want to fix any issues ahead of matchups with the likes of Argentina, Brazil, or Spain, all of whom could give them trouble. Luckily, Tunisia should be a bit of a breather for the team in this second game. Expect a dominant win.
