WWE Japan are reporting that Wade Barrett is due to return to ring action next week during a house show in Tokyo. It has been months since the highly talented Brit has been seen in action. The former bare knuckle fighter joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2006, and spent almost four years in developmental before making his debut on television in 2010 on NXT. Barrett is most famous for his leading of the infamous group "Nexus," and took part in multiple main events with John Cena in the later months of 2010, including his big main event at Survivor Series against Randy Orton with John Cena as the special guest referee.
Wade Barrett was injured in February, when during a live show, was outside of the ring and was accidentally hit by Dolph Ziggler who had just been thrown out of the ring. Barrett suffered an elbow injury and has been on the road to recovery ever since.
There is no doubting that WWE plan to have Wade Barrett make some serious waves when he returns. Just prior to his injury, it was well known that WWE were planning to have Barrett get involved in the WHC picture, so after SummerSlam look for Barrett to become a big player in professional wrestling.
