It's nice to know there are some morals still involved in football, at least when it comes to certain teams. One of those teams is the Miami Dolphins. They won't support, or employ, Chad Ochocinco any more because he put his new wife in the hospital after supposedly beating her senseless.
The punishment for the crime was swift and severe by the Dolphins. It took them a mere 24-hours to decide "no more" as they dropped Ochocinco from their roster. His contract is now null and void.
Sadly, there's still some dispute over what actually took place between the ex Dancing With the Stars competitor and new wife, Evelyn Lozada. She claims her injuries happened when Chad head-butted her. He says it was the other way around. She head-butted him. Unfortunately, only the couple knows for certain what really happened. However, it was Lozada and not Ochocinco who ended up in the hospital.
Either way, the romance is obviously over. Whether that means the marriage will be short-lived as well remains unknown at this time. But Chad Ochocinco is unemployed and that surely won't set well with either key player in this uncalled for domestic drama.
