While it has been a very busy summer for most NBA teams and a few free agents are still available, most of the wheeling and dealing this off-season is complete and teams will enter training camp with their roster they now have intact.
The NY Knicks are an interesting team entering the 2012-13 season as they have perhaps the best front-court in the league; but losing Jeremy Lin will hurt this team on and off the court and the team needs young guard Iman Shumpert to recover from his knee injury to compete for top honors in the Eastern Conference.
ESPN reporter Jared Zwerling has recently used Twitter to let fans of the NY Knicks know that the team isn't looking to make any more moves before the start of training camp. And for the first time in a while, it looks like the team has a complete roster; but the front office has always done the unexpected and more moves could happen if the team feels it's getting a good deal.
The NBA has changed drastically over the summer as the LA Lakers are now the 'IT' team. But chemistry plays a big role in how teams play throughout a season and the NY Knicks are entering the year with plenty of positive momentum. Standing pat with their current roster is likely the team's best option for this upcoming basketball season.
