The LLWS 2012 results from Sunday (August 19) raised the level of intrigue. Day 4 of the Little League World Series had four games, finished off with a great pitching duel between Japan and Asia-Pacific. By the end of the day, just four teams were left with undefeated records this year, creating some very interesting semifinal match-ups in the winner's bracket.
The first game of the day saw Latin America defeat Canada 8-3 in the International bracket. Japan defeated Asia-Pacific 2-0 in the nightcap, setting up an interesting Japan vs. Latin America game in the LLWS schedule. That game will take place on Wednesday (August 22) at 4 p.m. ET. Canada heads to the loser's bracket to play Caribbean on Monday (August 20) at 2 p.m. ET. Asia-Pacific then plays Mexico at 6 p.m. ET.
Over in the United States bracket, Tennessee (Southeast) defeated California (West) 9-6 in the first game and then Texas (Southwest) defeated Indiana (Great Lakes) in the second game 13-3. Tennessee vs. Texas takes place on Wednesday (August 22) at 8 p.m. ET. In the loser's bracket, California plays New Jersey at 4 p.m. ET on Monday (August 20) and Connecticut now plays Indiana at 8 p.m. ET.
