WWE SummerSlam 2012 wrapped up and only one title changed hands on the card. However, while no major changes occurred in the title scene,
plenty happened that will change the WWE landscape as the road starts to the Royal Rumble in January.
The biggest match on the card pitted Brock
Lesnar against Triple H. This was only Lesnar's second big match in the WWE since his return, and he lost that earlier bout to John Cena. However, he picked up a good win in this second match by making Triple H tap out. It was a surprising result, not because Lesnar won but because he made Triple H submit.
With the big win, there is a good chance that Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman show up on WWE Monday Night Raw and start to make everyone's life miserable. Who could be next for Lesnar?
It looks like they might be heading towards either a Lesnar and Cena rematch at Wrestlemania 2013 or a big match with The Undertaker. That last alternative sounds good, as it could let the Dead Man be the one to finally end Lesnar's year of terror.
Shawn Michaels, who stayed home injured for the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar match, tweeted shortly after the match that he was getting a Satellite Truck to his home in time for Monday Night Raw. This means fans should expect to see him on the show, at least via video feed.
The biggest question to answer from the WWE Summerslam 2012 fallout is what Triple H will do next. The Game lost the match by tapping out to Lesnar and now has to decide if he wants revenge or feels it is time to hang up his boots. Will Triple H show up on WWE Monday Night Raw, and if he does, what are his plans for Brock Lesnar?
