The 2012 NFL preseason schedule for TV in Week 3 begins Thursday (August 23) with the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Tennessee Titans on ESPN. It is one of six nationally televised games that get showcased by the NFL during the week, with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The most intriguing game of all has to be the Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins, though, taking place on Saturday (August 25). That is a match-up of the first two picks in the 2012 NFL Draft, with Andrew Luck leading his Colts against Robert Griffin III and his Redskins. Coverage for that game is at 4 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
Friday night (August 24) has the Chicago Bears at New York Giants on CBS (8 p.m. ET) and then Saturday night (August 25) has the Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints on CBS as well (8 p.m. ET). Two more games come on Sunday (August 26), beginning with the San Francisco 49ers at Denver Broncos at 4 p.m. ET on FOX. That game is followed by the Carolina Panthers at New York Jets at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Week 3 NFL preseason schedule for 2012 is pretty interesting, but the national TV coverage is just going to get people more excited about the regular season starting. Which of these NFL preseason games are you most excited about watching in Week 3? Is there a team that you wish was getting more coverage by the NFL this preseason?
