The third week of the NFL preseason got started on Thursday night with three games. The featured contest had two teams from last year's playoffs matched up as Green Bay went on the road to face Cincinnati and the Packers came away with a 27-13 victory.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the way, but he did most of his damage on the ground as he rushed for two touchdowns. The All-Pro went 12-22 for 154 yards, but had no touchdown passes and threw one interception in the contest.
The Packers dominated the contest as they held the young Bengals to just 195 total yards and the team's offense held the ball for over 36 minutes, but the defense sealed the victory when Jamari Lattimore returned an interception for a touchdown with just under three minutes remaining in the game.
In other NFL action, Baltimore rolled up nearly 600 yards of offense as the Ravens defeated Jacksonville 48-17 and Tennessee under new starting quarterback Jake Locker squeaked out a 32-27 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Friday night has another six games on the schedule as teams begin making their final preparations for the upcoming regular season.
