New NBA rumors have Dwyane Wade just about ready to return from knee surgery. Wade had to miss the 2012 Olympics in London due to a procedure on his knee, but he may be getting very close to taking to the basketball court again.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, Wade has "been feeling good" recently and that he is ready to take the next steps in his rehabilitation process. It has been about seven weeks since the surgery took place and it looks like he may have no lasting problems when the NBA regular season finally rolls around in October.
While Wade is still around two-to-three weeks from actually playing basketball again, the surgery has left him plenty of time to prepare for the 2012-13 NBA season. That's good news not just for the Miami Heat and fans of the team, but also for fantasy basketball owners that have been patiently waiting for news to come from the guard.
The Miami Heat will open the season against the Boston Celtics, so the league has to also be pleased that one of the marquee players in the match-up is primed to return before that October 30 game. As Miami gets ready to defend its NBA title, it's probably also good news that Wade has been able to rest so much this offseason.
What do you think about these NBA rumors about Dwyane Wade? Do you think the rest that his knee injury has provided will allow him to play even more minutes in the regular season?
