NFL games are often won or lost by a kicker and the same can be said for fantasy football owners as several times each season a team wins or loses by the smallest of margins. Oftentimes owners overlook the kicker when drafting and settles for whatever player is left when they make their pick in the last round and for those owners, here is a look at a couple of sleepers for the upcoming season.
Justin Tucker went undrafted, but the Baltimore Ravens will count on the youngster as their starter this season after having an impressive preseason. Tucker has very good leg strength and plays for a team that can score points, making him a legit 100+ point scorer for fantasy football owners this season.
Another rookie that will break into the league this year is St Louis Rams youngster Greg Zuerlein. The team drafted him in the sixth round this past April and he has been impressive since the start of training camp.
Both these youngsters could have excellent NFL careers, but for now they are unknown players just trying to keep a job. Owners looking for help in the late rounds have two solid options at kicker, allowing for more depth at skilled positions and possibly a shot at winning a league title this football season.
