The 2012 NFL preseason schedule for TV in Week 4 begins Wednesday (August 29) with the New England Patriots taking on the New York Giants on NFL Network. It is one of just three nationally televised games that get showcased by the NFL during the week, with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
Getting to watch New England vs. New York is usually a pretty exciting treat, but it's unclear if many of the starters will see much action at all in this contest. It's the final week of the preseason, so teams have every incentive to get rest for their star players. At the same time, this is where momentum on the field can start to get built.
The other two games on the docket are the Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals. Both games will be shown on NFL Network on Thursday (August 30), with the Packers starting at 7 p.m. ET and the Broncos beginning at 11 p.m. ET. Both games should be interesting, but they are really just appetizers for the Week 1 NFL regular season schedule that begins in just a few days.
The Week 4 NFL preseason schedule for 2012 is pretty interesting, but the national TV coverage may be considered a bit lacking by many NFL fans. Which of these NFL preseason games are you most excited about watching in Week 4? Is there a team that you wish had received television coverage by the NFL this preseason?
