During a rant on Twitter, WWE legend Mick Foley took exception to certain rumors of deep personal heat between himself and fellow wrestling icon Triple H. Foley was quick to deny the rumors and got quite heated in this response.
Foley had the following to say on the matter:
"Can I clear up this rumor about me not getting along with Triple H?"
"Triple H is the man responsible for bringing me back to here. I am very happy in my role as ambassador, and have a variety of projects due out in the next few months: a children's book, a set of cards that I did the writing for, and the WWE13 game that I am apparently featured prominently in. I am hoping to use the release of the book to become a much larger part of WWE's 'Be A STAR' campaign."
These rumors come as a complete surprise and it is untrue, Foley was featured in Triple H's highlight reel during last night's Raw, and Foley went on to say he was honored to have been included in that. Many wrestling fans have been disappointed by the lack of television time given to Foley since he returned to the WWE earlier this year, but Foley insists he is completely happy in his current role with the company.
It appears that Mick Foley has found his natural role within the WWE, and many fans believe the rumors of heat between Foley and Triple H are complete rubbish. Once again the rumors were sighted on social media, yes, you guessed it, via Twitter.
