Sacramento enters the 2012-13 NBA season with questions about players and where the team could move in the next 12 months. Several Kings could move to new teams in the coming season and Tyreke Evans would likely bring the most in return.
Peter Emerick of Bleacher Report has listed the top players likely to move this season and Evans is among those players likely to find a new home.
Evans could use a change of scenery and the NY Knicks are among the teams that could use his services. New York lost point guard Jeremy Lin this summer and the team needs some help in the back-court. Adding a proven scorer like Evans would make this team a true contender in the Eastern Conference.
New York might have a tough time getting a proper package together to acquire the youngster, but the front office would need to do whatever they could to land the high scoring guard.
The upcoming NBA season has some terrific story lines with all the player movement this summer, but a deal like this could land the NY Knicks in contention for a title.
