What comes around, goes around, at least in the latest NBA rumor to hit social media, as Allen Iverson has stated he is looking to return to the States to play basketball.
Iverson last played in the league during the 2009-10 season, but after an illness to his daughter, he left Philly. The 37-year-old returned to basketball and played in Turkey the following year and now is looking to return to the big stage, but has said he would welcome a year in China if things don't go as planned.
Bleacher Report writer Tim Nguyen suggests the 76ers look into adding the veteran guard as Philadelphia has limited depth in the back-court, especially at point guard, and a return to Philadelphia would definitely create a buzz in the city and among its basketball fans.
While nothing concrete has happened between the franchise and Iverson, this would be a great feel-good story for the NBA and the 76ers, and it likely will cost the team just the veteran minimum to sign their old star.
