NFL Fantasy Football owners that have a big-name quarterback on their roster usually have an easy decision to make each week regarding their starting lineups, but for those who used early rounds on running backs and wide receivers, making a final decision on a starter could feel like a chore.
Week 1 had a few surprises from the quarterback position and that makes finding a sleeper even more difficult, but here is a look at the top options for this weekend and how these players can help owners in week 2.
For owners that grabbed Matt Cassel in the late rounds for depth, this week's matchup could have him as a starter. The Kansas City quarterback passed for 258 yards last week and a touchdown, but he also ran for his first score since joining Kansas City and he and the Chiefs face a defense that yielded over 40 points last week.
Another good sleeper option this week is rookie quarterback Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts. The youngster passed for over 300 yards and a score last week against a tough Chicago Bears defense. This week the youngster gets an easier test against Minnesota and with a little luck, he could earn his first victory in the NFL.
While these players aren't necessarily long-term solutions, they can give owners a good shot at winning if they have an injured quarterback or a player with matchup problems against a tough defense.
